International Transgender Day of Remembrance

Today marks the 11th Annual International Transgender Day of Remembrance.  So far this year, there have been 162 (known) murders of trans people, the vast majority of which were women of color.

The violence and cruelty that these victims suffered through before dying is heartbreaking, and the fact that so many of these crimes are ignored by the mainstream media is shameful.
