I’ve been stewing sitting on this for a few days, so now’s a good a time as any to write on it.
Tom Tancredo was in Brownsville, TX earlier this week to sit on a congressional panel and throw in his two cents on the border wall. And surprise, surprise…he displayed his flair for blatant bigotry.
He responded to one woman’s argument that “It really isn’t a border to most of us who live [in the Valley]” by dismissing her statement as a “multiculturalist attitude toward borders.” (As opposed to what? An Aryan Nation attitude toward borders? I mean, shit…)
